Vintage chrome tubular armchair, powder pink seat Coup de Griffe

A pair of vintage armchairs, entirely reworked in the Maison Machao workshop.

Their chromed tubular frame, typical of modernist furniture, draws a continuous, light line around the seat. The cantilevered base gives the chair that airy silhouette while still offering a generous seat.

For their new life I chose to play on the contrast of materials and colours.

At the front, a long-pile Casal fabric in a very soft powder pink, as pleasant to look at as to touch. At the back the mood changes with « Coup de Griffe » from Maison Thevenon, a magnificent embroidered fabric with organic motifs in several shades of green.

Pink and green, two complementary colours that work particularly well together: a soft, almost well-behaved front, and a small touch of madness at the back that reveals the chair's full character.

Each armchair has been restored and reupholstered in the workshop. Two available, one-off pieces.
