Pair of pierced Vallauris vases – 1950s-60s

Two sculptural vases in Vallauris ceramic, with a strong, unapologetic presence.
Organic form with side openings, deep black glaze lifted by almost volcanic red and white drips, an aesthetic typical of the 1950s and 60s.

They work as well as decorative objects on their own as with a few branches or dried flowers. Set together, they create a real focal point in a room.
