Mid-century nesting tables

I see a lot of nesting tables go by… rarely any this beautiful.

What I like best here is that black glass, foxed in places, almost like an old mirror. It gives them a wonderful charm, a depth and a patina that a flawless top would never have.

This vintage duo wins you over with the fineness of its line: a slender base, warm wood with pretty details, and that very successful pairing of a light frame with the graphic presence of the black glass.

The set is in very fine condition: the wood is flawless, light and delicately worked. The glass shows a few marks of time, light scratches and small pits that contribute fully to their character. There is a discreet nick on the small table, nothing troublesome.

Easy to move and to fit in, they can be used at the end of a sofa, as side tables or bedside tables, together or separately.
